rtist and designer Sue van der Ree has had a rich and varied career - painting and colour being ever present. Trained in antique restoration, she has restored many ceramic collectables and fine porcelain works of art.

Always enjoying the images of bronzes and figures from various periods she can restore and repaint them if they are made of bronze, spelter or even chalk.

In the theatre Sue worked as a scenic painter, designed costumes and also designed programme covers. During this period she began to paint murals.

After taking a teacher training course she taught in various colleges and it was this experience which enabled her to run her own courses in restoration, marbling and specialist decoration.
